- First full competitive season as a team
- Delivered the best-engineered car of the field
- Established core skills in design, manufacturing & race execution
A precision-focused STEM Racing team, now competing in Pro Class for 2026/27. Three seasons of design, manufacturing and aerodynamic development — built around a single objective: maximum velocity over the 20-metre race.
Quantum Velocity is a high-performance STEM Racing team of five members from Bablake School, Coventry. What began as a foundation-level challenge in Entry Class has evolved into a precision-focused racing operation.
Through advanced design, aerodynamic optimisation and rigorous manufacturing, the team has built cars capable of competing at the highest level — progressing across three seasons while sharpening every part of its technical and strategic process.
Now stepping into Pro Class, the team enters a new phase of development. Every component is being pushed further: sharper aerodynamics, refined performance engineering and a brand identity built to compete on the global stage. The objective is clear — deliver elite engineering, maximise speed, and fight to reach the World Finals.
Recognised for the best-engineered car in Entry Class, a joint-fastest lap on race day, and a Future Stars nomination. Early-season recognition · STEM Racing
The team's first competitive car — a clean, single-form chassis that established the design and manufacturing fundamentals carried forward into every season since.
The Development-class car carried the team's full competition livery and sponsor identity. Switch to the exploded view to see how the chassis, wings, wheels and fixings come together.
Engineered from a precision-cut, sustainably sourced foam billet, the chassis is machined to a finely tuned aerodynamic profile and powered by a high-pressure CO₂ propulsion system. Every gram of mass, every contour and every aerodynamic surface is optimised toward one objective: maximum velocity across the 20-metre race. This current model is a development prototype — the final race-spec car will replace it once manufacturing is complete.
